LS Synthetic SAE 75W-90

Gear Oil

RIDGELINE™ SAE 75W-90 FULL SYNTHETIC GEAR OIL is formulated to provide outstanding protection for hypoid gears, manual transmissions, gear boxes, passenger car and light truck conventional and limited slip differentials, transmissions, and steering gears. Recommended for use where an SAE 75W-90 gear oil that meets API Service GL-5 and MT-1, SAE J2360, and/ or Mack GO-J is specified.

Features and Benefits
  • Superior protection against wear, especially under extreme pressure and high torque operation
  • High resistance to thermal breakdown
  • Helps prevent foaming, rust and corrosion
  • Smooths and quiets operation

LS SAE 80W-90

Gear Oil

RIDGELINE™ SAE 80W-90 GEAR OIL is formulated to provide outstanding protection for hypoid gears, manual transmissions, gear boxes, passenger car and light truck conventional and limited slip differentials, transmissions, and steering gears. Recommended for use in cars, trucks, off-highway vehicles, tractors, outboards, and other equipment where an SAE 80W-90 gear oil that meets API Service GL-5 is specified.

Features and Benefits
  • Superior protection against wear, especially under extreme pressure and high torque operation
  • High resistance to thermal breakdown
  • Helps prevent foaming, rust and corrosion
  • Smooths and quiets operation

EP Gear OILS

Gear LUBRICANT

RIDGELINE™ EP GEAR LUBRICANT is a mild EP gear lubricant designed to meet the lubrication needs of gear trains requiring the use of an extreme pressure lubricant. It is especially well-suited for use in severe service equipment such as rock crushers. RIDGELINE™ EP GEAR LUBRICANT is formulated with quality base oils and carefully selected additives resulting in a product which will provide excellent anti-wear protection under heavy loads while also guarding against rust and corrosion, even when the system is idle.

Features and Benefits
  • Unique balance if extreme pressure additives extends equipment life through minimized gear wear
  • Limits wear during equipment start-up and acceleration, as well as during extreme loading during low speed/high-torque service
  • Specially formulated to control rust and corrosion of all types of metal surfaces
  • Combustible with yellow metals such as brass, bronze and copper to resist excess wear
  • Quality base oils and antioxidant additive produce a lubricant with excellent resistance to high temperature degradation for longer lubricant life

Synthetic EP Gear Oil

GEAR LUBRICANT

RIDGELINE™ Full Synthetic EP Gear Oil is engineered for all kinds of industrial enclosed gearing, and plain or rolling element bearings requiring an EP gear oil. It is formulated with outstanding extreme pressure (EP) additives to provide a layer of protection for shock loading. It is especially useful where micropitting of gear teeth has been a problem. Its low friction tendencies, when compared to conventional gear lubricants, produce lower operating temperatures and increased gear efficiency providing an opportunity to reduce operating costs.

Features and Benefits
  • Outstanding resistance to high temperature thermal stress and oxidation
  • Longer oil life results while providing exceptional lubrication protection
  • Excellent fluidity at low temperatures and low co-efficient of friction at all temperatures permits easier start-ups and energy efficient operation
  • A unique combination of synthetic base oils and anti-wear additives provide low gear and bearing wear, including excellent resistance to micro-pitting of gear teeth
  • Special additives minimize corrosion of bronze and copper metals and at the same time protect iron and steel components from oxidation
  • Rapid water separation minimizes potential damage caused by exposure of lubricated surfaces to free water
  • Longer oil life, longer gear and bearing life and excellent lubricity and flow properties provide reduced maintenance costs and greater operating efficiency
  • Maximum base oil stability even under conditions of high temperature and oxidation minimizes build-up of deposits
